Our room was nice with an included bathroom, but this is the only one like that. Public bathrooms got dirty. Stairways are cramped. Breakfast is some basic cereal and toast.

This is a truly awful place. The floors are a thin wood with no insulation. Your upstairs neighbors will keep you awake whenever they come and go. The hotel also has special deals with youth tour groups so expect no sleep. You hear them all night. realistically, I had about two hours sleep each night I stayed here.

I first stayed here almost 20 years ago with my mates from a school excursion from northern NSW. I have been back a few time with friends and family since then. They are great and affordable. Very accommodating and polite. The rooms are great. Can get a room full of bunks or just a double bed. The shared shower/toilet for the school trip wasn't the best. But the staff are all great and even let us keep our bags there after we checked out once so we could go to watch the NRL game. We came back, got our bags and left. Great place to stay. Not for the 'stuck ups' though.

Very poor no elevators. Very basic food. Hot rooms.

Shouldn't expect much for this price but bedsheets were dirty which is a no for any hotel, had hair and dust all over, even a rubber band in the sheets. It's an old building so you can hear everything so expect no sleep. Also woke up and there was no running water! Definitely not coming back again.
